When marking a book as read from the feed, the completed date should not be populated automatically.#307

At this point in time when you mark a book as read that you see in the feed, the finished date is automatically populated as the date you mark it as read. This shouldn’t be automated because sometimes you see a book that you’ve read in the past, but don’t want it included in the current years stats. You just want it on your shelf.
I think that by fixing this more users would be encouraged to mark books they’ve read as read and add them to shelves without needing to immediately sort out the finished date.
I think this would encourage readers to add more books to their shelves because it makes it just a bit easier to curate and manage.
